Polynesians know that the spirit residing within a tribal tiki has its own unique personality and temperament. Artist Eric Zerkel has playfully captured these traits in his current series of tiki portraits entitled Tiki Fever. Every 30" x 7" Tiki painting reflects the Artists vision of the spirit dwelling within, each an individual personality that seems to peek out at the viewer with mischievous amusement and sometimes with dark disdain (as it should be with such Deities!).
